1K a year Description Provides safe efficient age specific nursing care to patients, families using nursing interventions in order to assist them to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status.
Essential duties include Patient documentation, Direct patient care, assessment; Medication administration, Discharge planning, community resource referral and education, actively participates in the quality improvement process.
Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients, customers.
Initiates and maintains positive relationships with co-workers.
Takes responsibility for self development and supports a learning environment.
Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values.
Thorough knowledge of nursing process and practice.
Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed medical therapies, ie.
Stethoscopes, thermometers, sphygmomanometers and electronic monitoring devices.
Demonstrates a professional demeanor when responding to patients.
1 year of RN experience required.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of Diploma, Associates Degree in nursing from accredited program.
Qualifications RN - Registered Nurse Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
