Role:
Provide overall direction and administration of the credit union's ACH, Share Draft, Check Cards, ATM Card, Payroll Deduction and Online Services programs as well as perform other monthly reporting as determined by operational and compliance standards.
Essential Functions &
Responsibilities:
Process and balance reports as needed on a daily basis.
Balance general ledgers as assigned.
Monitor fraud alerts.
ATM and Debit Card maintenance Manage online services.
Review and post daily wires.
Research member disputes and unauthorized postings.
Process disputes, charge backs and fraud reports.
Ensure proper and accurate postings to member accounts.
Ensure compliance with Federal Regulations and Bank Secrecy Act.
Assist member service personnel with member requests, problem solutions of disputes and adjustments.
Assist Teller Department with issues concerning ATM balancing and Shared Branching adjustments.
Resolve member issues in a professional and timely manner with concerns relating to their accounts, online services and ATM/Debit Cards.
Extensive knowledge of all Achieve products and services including but not limited to overdraft protection/courtesy pay, Bill Pay and RDC.
Knowledge of ChexSystems reporting.
Performance Measurements:

Process all operational incoming transactions in a timely and accurately.

Troubleshoot and resolve member and internal inquiries.
3.
Troubleshoot general ledger and reconciling items as necessary.
4.
Meet deadlines in preparing reports.
5.
Communicate effectively (written and verbal) to all levels of personnel within the credit union as well as members and outside vendors.
6.
Maintain a professional work environment and businesslike appearance.
7.
Attend required annual BSA training.
Knowledge and Skills:
Experience:
Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
Education:
A high school education or GED.
Interpersonal Skills:
Work involves personal contact with others inside and outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution and building relationships.
Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.
Other Skills:
Experience using computers to process work functions in addition to creating, maintaining, and storing informational files through the use of spreadsheets is strongly recommended.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift at least 25 pounds.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
