Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals seeking shelter - Conduct intake assessments and safety planning with clients - Assist clients in accessing community resources and services - Develop and implement case management plans for clients - Provide emotional support and advocacy to clients - Maintain accurate and confidential client records and data collection - Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a safe and supportive environment - Conduct regular check-ins with clients to monitor progress and address any concerns - Facilitate group sessions on topics such as conflict management and behavior management Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience - Experience in crisis intervention, case management, or related field preferred - Knowledge of behavioral health principles and trauma-informed care - Strong communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to work effectively in a team setting - Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills - Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism - First aid certification is a plus This position requires a compassionate individual who is dedicated to supporting individuals in crisis.
