Essential Functions:
In support of and under the direction of quality engineers or supervisors, analyzes and solves quality problems.
Performs mechanical/electrical and item specific inspection using standardized methods.
Uses precision instruments including basic Coordinate Measurement Machine (CMM) measurements as appropriatePrepares procedures, work instructions, and trains inspectors.
Collects data and enters results into computer systemHelps in the collection and presentation of required data to support audits and regulatory assessmentsProvide support during customer complaint investigations as neededUses Information Center to retrieve product/process informationStrict compliance to Quality Systems standardsComplies with Good Documentation PracticesAdheres to all safety policies and contributes to the achievement of safety goals & objectivesProvides ideas and actively participates in the implementation of written suggestions for continuous improvementEffectively utilizes time, energy and resources to meet delivery goalsMaintains housekeeping standards in accordance with 5 S principlesComplete all required training applicable to assigned positionExhibit positivity, flexibility, creativity, and a willingness to take on new responsibilities as requested or required
Qualifications:
Associate degree or equivalentSix months experience as QA Inspector or equivalentCertified Mechanical Inspector (CMI) or equivalentKnowledge of Measurement Analysis Systems (Gage R&R and attribute gauge study)Ability to read and calculate fractions, decimals and geometrical calculationsKnowledge of Metrology and Calibration systems.
Ability to use precision tools and gauges in extensive layout situations on complicated parts and/or productsAbility to make electrical measurements; knowledge of electrical parts and processesExperience with capability studiesEffective communication skillsAbility to work under minimal supervisionMust have thorough understanding of quality systems and their relationship to job performance including ISO Overview, corrective/preventative actions and work instructionsMust have physical ability and manual dexterity necessary to perform the duties pertaining to job An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer -M/F/Disabled/VetAbout the Company:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
