Position is for an environmental professional to help lead and support EHS programs and projects primarily at the company's chemical manufacturing facility. The individual may also provide general environmental, health and safety support to and other facilities in the distribution network in keeping with the company's commitment to Responsible Care.
Responsibilities of the position include: Provide strategic direction to the site and company leadership on EHS issues/opportunities Provide technical and regulatory expertise to ensure environmental compliance, safe work places, and continuous improvement of EHS programs. Participate in project reviews, process hazard analyses, and change management processes. Represent company at State and Local environmental forums for environmental regulations and issues. Facilitate the sharing of programs, procedures, tools, and successfully demonstrated practices across the EHS organization. Assist with implementation of standardized EHS processes. Work with other EHS experts in the organization on development of company-wide processes and initiatives to ensure continuous EHS improvement Lead and/or participate on EHS work teams or task forces As environmental subject matter expert, provide training content, and where appropriate, deliver training or coaching Support the interface with regulatory agencies and third parties, as needed, on compliance and enforcement issues. Support implementation of Responsible Care Management Systems.
SKILLS:
Bachelors degree, or higher in Engineering or Science required Must have at least 5 years of Environmental Health & Safety experience. Must have strong expertise in environmental regulations and their impact on operations. Must have 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Chemical manufacturing experience preferred Knowledge of chemical process technology is necessary to understand and explain the impact of regulations on operations, as well as to participate in environmental, health and safety reviews of capital projects and process changes. Familiarity with environmental permitting and reporting requirements of various MACT standards, NPDES, and RCRA is highly desirable. Experience and knowledge in occupational and process safety and environmental data management is desirable. Experience with incident investigation and root cause analysis, required Expertise in occupational and process safety a definite plus. Demonstrated success with permit negotiations with agencies. Experience with environmental management systems. Ability to work as part of a team and also work independently Attention to detail, Interpersonal skills, Strong written and verbal communication skillsEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
