Yep, that's correct long term ownership from new and then willed to a family member a year or so ago.
We sold this car a while ago and then the owner decided he wanted the 560SL we had so he traded the 380 back to us.
We are pleased to have it back.
Original paperwork from the selling dealer, original window sticker, original paint, interior.
65,000 miles.
Lots of receipts for work done through the mid 90's including a new brown canvas top that still looks excellent today.
Spent a lot of its time in Florida and it shows.
This is one original, solid old 380SL.
When we received this car, we did a service that included an oil change, going through the all the systems and making sure everything worked, including the factory air conditioning.
This old Benz drives like a dream.
Finished in stunning Orient Red over a Palomino Leather this is a terrific looking car as a convertible, with the like new brown canvass top up or with the excellent condition hardtop installed for that great coupe look.
In addition to fully servicing this Benz we took the chance to do a solid color sand and bring the paint back to a beautiful finish.
The original paint is extremely good with just some slight evidence of wear through on a couple of the edges- I'd bet if we didn't tell you- you'd never even see it.
