Vehicle Description A 1961 Mercedes Benz 190SL Roadster.
A desirable graphite grey (DB190) with a burgundy leather interior.
50,000 original miles.
We just acquired it from the second owner who had the car since 1974.
The car was put into storage 45 years ago (not climate controlled) and not driven since.
The body is extremely original, the paint seems to be original.
Since the car was not kept in climate-controlled environment, there is a lot of rust, the undercarriage is completely rusted out as you can see in the pictures.
Both rear trailing arms are broken.
The original interior is al there but needs to be redone.
The bottoms of the seats are rusted out but the frames are there.
Equipped with an original Becker radio The original engine was blown and replaced with a 180/B Sedan engine.
The car has original Solex carburetors.
Only comes with what you can see in the pictures.
An excellent candidate for a full restoration.
These cars are getting harder to find in this condition.
